Yorkshire Medieval Festival: Bilton-in-Ainsty Church is open for viewing on Sunday, August 25, 2-4pm. Elements of the Royalist Exhibition, on loan from Micklegate Bar, will be in church. Tockwith Under Fives Summer Opening: this year Tockwith Under fives will be opening on two mornings during the summer holidays. The sessions will run at the usual time from 9.30-11.30am in the village Hall. To help fund these extra sessions we will be selling coffee and cakes and all members of the family are welcome – older siblings too! The price will be as normal £1.50 for babies and £3 for a family of three. Summer dates: Tuesday, August 6 and Tuesday, September 3.
Tockwith Bowls Club: Tockwith Bowls Club is a flat green bowling club, situated next to the football field at the sports pavilion. Ainsty Conservation Society: ACS is a local organisation dedicated to nature conservation and is a registered charity. Workdays are on the morning of the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Tockwith with Wilstrop Parish Council: the parish council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are not normally held in August or December.
