Sports and fitness try out at Spa school

Boston Spa School will be the place to be tonight for anyone interested in getting involved in a new sport or becoming more active.

The school off Clifford Moor Road plays host to a sport and active lifestyles fair today from 6-8pm, which will see more than 25 organisations from the area represented.

Organised by Leeds City Council and Boston Spa School, the free event is open for all to attend with taster sessions being held for basketball, football, wall climbing, archery, rugby, hockey, tennis, cycling, golf and bowls. In addition there will be demonstrations of gymnastics and martial arts.

The event forms part of National Schools Sports Week, and will feature Leeds Rhinos mascot Ronnie the Rhino.
