SPOFFORTH’S first-ever beer festival has been hailed a resounding success - with organisers saying it exceeded expectations.
Villagers were treated to a range of beers, ciders and wines - with pie ‘n’ peas available for those who got peckish.
The crowds were also treated to a performance from band Crimple Stompers, who formed especially for the festival.
Organiser Robyn Farmer said: “It was a fantastic day, everything we could have hoped for. More so, infact,”
“Everybody seemed to really enjoy themselves. There was a great atmosphere and the band went
down a storm.”
