IT’S full steam ahead for the 25th anniversary of Martin House.

The Boston Spa-based children’s hospice is organising a day trip to Bath on the luxurious Northern Belle, sister train to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, on June 30 to mark their birthday.

Alison Wragg, fundraiser for Martin House, explained: “Since opening our doors in 1987 we have supported some 2000 families.

“We hope the Orient Express - Northern Belle experience will help us to raise much needed funds, which will go towards our annual current running costs, which are currently £4.5m.”
