Motorists warned of delays

Delays are expected during works which will close one lane of the A64 westbound on the approach to Bramham overnight April 24 and during Friday to allow Northern PowerGrid to install a new electric supply.

Traffic management will be installed overnight on Thursday.

A Highways Agency spokesman said: “For safety reasons the electricity work must be carried out during the day.

“The lane closure will affect westbound traffic during the morning peak period on 25 April and delays are expected, the work will be completed in time for the evening peak period.
