Bramham is to stage its own celebrations this weekend to mark the forthcoming Grand Depart.
Led by the 10-strong Bramham NSPCC committee, several community groups in the village are pulling together to provide a weekend of fun with a French flavour.
The Village Hall will be the venue for a sell-out charity dinner for 140 guests on Saturday evening.
Entertainment will be provided by local musicians and Bramham Drama Group.
On Sunday morning visitors can follow a scarecrow trail around the village.
Refreshments will be provided by the Yorkshire Countrywomen in the Senior Citizens Centre, between 10 and noon.
Sunday afternoon will be the Grand Picnic on the playing fields, when everyone is invited to just turn up with a rug, a picnic and games to share and maybe impromtu music.
