The funeral of Wetherby woman Megan Roberts who went missing in York for over a month will take place on Thursday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said there will be a strictly private family funeral for the former St John University student at Stonefall Crematorium in Harrogate.
But a memorial service will take place at St James’s Church in Wetherby afterwards.
Mum Jackie Roberts posted on Facebook: “For all who would like to be there, Megan’s funeral service will be Thursday March 13, 2.30pm at St James’s Church, followed by a gathering at the Engine Shed.
“We’ll be having cremation with family only before the service.
“No dress code and bright colours welcome.”
Megan went missing during a night out with friends in York on January 23 and her body was recovered from the River Ouse at Acaster Malbis on March 2 after weeks of extensive police searches in and around the river.
