Companies have now started moving into Grimston Grange Office outside Tadcaster following its internal refurbishment.

Period stone barns and stables centred around a landscaped garden courtyard, the newly remodelled offices are being hailed by Grimston Park Estate as the perfect location for businesses expanding or moving to the Tadcaster area.

Though it already housed various companies including pet food sales, consulting engineers, and a consultancy training company, new occupants include an international seafood company, a high spec photocopying enquipment supplier, and a company specialising in intellectual property and brands.

Commercial Property Manager for the estate Barbara Atherton said: “The response from the market has been fantastic since we began marketing the newly refurbished offices in earnest at the start of January this year, and now have only six of the original 14 offices available to let. This is confirmation of what we on the estate already knew - that we have a high quality office development on offer which is unrivalled in the local area.”

Digital Office Systems, a Xerox authorised partner, has also opened an office in the Tadcaster development and expanded its remit to cover the Yorkshire urban area and the Ashby De La Zouch-based company now covers all the Yorkshire area from its new Tadcaster hub.

The group’s managing director John McPhillips said: “This is an exciting time for Digital Office Systems Group. Steady growth and an expanding customer base have brought us to a position where the next logical step was to open an office in Yorkshire to cover the M1 corridor. We already had a number of customers in the area, however this will allow us to consolidate our presence, provide a better service to existing customers and give us the platform to expand into new markets and increase revenue streams.”

Owner of Grimston Park Estate Thomas Fielden has been delighted with the interest in the offices and said “We’ve worked hard to create a modern working environment in some beautiful old buildings and we would like to welcome all our new occupiers. We are especially pleased to welcome Digital Office (Northern) Ltd and grateful they have taken the initiative to find an up-to-date office in a rural setting with all the benefits of a location only a few miles from the A1(M). We hope that their decision pays off with well earned rewards from clients in York and the large conurbations around Leeds and Bradford.”
