Interested buyers camped out at a new Boston Spa housing development.

Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey said prospective home owners camped out at their Church Fields site as the final properties were released.

Debbie Whittingham, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, explained: “Church Fields has been one of our most popular developments on record, so it’s no surprise that we’re almost sold out well ahead of plan.

“We credit the fantastic location, combined with the stunning designs of the homes and schemes such as Help to Buy, for its incredible success, and expect our final home to be sold in no time.”

Church Fields is located on the high street in the popular village and has been boosted by the government backed Help to Buy scheme which helps buyers secure a home with just a five per cent deposit.

Debbie added: “In recent years, the development has won an esteemed Housing Design Award, so it’s easy to see why it’s been such a hit with our customers.”
