Harewood House will boost its dining menu after a collaboration with a Michelin star Leeds restaurant.
The popular stately home will be serving a fine dining menu after a partnership with the Box Tree Restaurant in Ilkley.
Chief executive Mike Schafer announced that The Box Tree Restaurant in Ilkley will create and make their fine dining menu.
Mr Schafer said: “As a multi-award winning and Michelin Starred Restaurant, The Box Tree is held in the highest regard in the culinary world - their service, menus and wines are revered, not just regionally but also nationally. We have some of the finest architecture and interiors in the country and our hospitality needs to compliment our environment.
Rena and Simon Gueller, who own and manage Box Tree Events, met David Lascelles – the 8th Earl of Harewood – and Mr Schafer on the State Floor of the home in north Leeds.The menu will combine French classics with modern English twists and be served in the State Floor dining area, the Below Stairs room or he Terrace.
