Films of Good Taste to please the eye and palate will be shown in Tockwith Church on Saturday, February 11 at 7.30pm.
Eating and drinking in movies is usually included for a reason, to depict - desire (When Harry met Sally), enjoyment (Sideways), suspense (Pulp Fiction), love (Babette’s Feast) and creativity (I Am Love).
The cinema uses the palate to explore life itself as author, journalist and broadcaster Stephen Brown will explain in this guide.
Good food and drink will be served alongside the gastronomic film journey. A choice of hot meals is included and there is a bar.
Admission is £10 and tickets are available from Angela Jenkins on 01423 358067.
