ELECTION 2015: Follow our coverage

Your award-winning Harrogate Advertiser Series team will be on hand to provide the best local coverage of the 2015 General Election.

We have been profiling candidates and discussing the key battlegrounds over the last six weeks, but the time for talking is now over with people across our district and the country heading to the polls today.

Your votes will be counted through the night, and our team of trained journalists are preparing to bring you the results first, through our website and social media

streams.

We are expecting results for our constituencies in the early hours of Friday, while local council seats will be announced on Friday

afternoon. Both will feature on our websites, and in next week’s newspapers.

News Editor Alex Johnston said: “We at the Harrogate Advertiser Series understand how vital it is that we engage with politics at a local level.

“That’s why we will have reporters at all the major counts, in order to bring our readers the results and reaction they need.

“Our coverage across Harrogate, Knaresborough, Nidderdale, Ripon and Wetherby will be unparalleled, so make sure you follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook and have our website open on your tablet through the night.

“As ever, our coverage is only improved with the input of our loyal readers, so please get involved and have your

say.”
