Inspectors find a lot to like at Summerbridge primary school

IT’S a good school, Summerbridge Primary - and now there’s a report to prove it.

Ofsted inspectors have rated the school as “good” in their recent assessment, praising pupils’ behaviour, the productive atmosphere and the maturity of older children.

In her report, inspector Lynne Read said: “Behaviour is outstanding and contributes a great deal to the vibrant, productive atmosphere.

“Older pupils demonstrate confident, mature attitudes and excellent self-discipline.”

She said there was “an exciting range of activities”, children with special needs and disabilities achieved well and the quality of teaching ranged from good to outstanding.
