Pupils and staff at Richard Taylor School celebrated the end of a year of celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the school being on the Bilton Lane Site.
Headteacher Andrew Symonds said: ‘Its been a great year of celebrations.
“The JennyRuth Workshop in Ripon have worked with the children to create a commemorative wrought iron window which will be installed in the school’s peace garden.
“Everyone is now looking forward to the next 40 years.”
The school itself is 129 years old but has been on its current site since 1973.
