Wetherby Police announce Harewood community service

Wetherby Neighbourhood Policing team will be holding regular Harewood community surgeries between now and Christmas.

PCSOs from the unit will be available for residents to discuss any problems or issues affecting the community.

All residents can attend the dates at Harewood Village Hall on Sunday, September 29 between 1.30 and 2pm.

Other dates will include Sunday, October 20 between 1.30 and 2pm and Sunday, December 1 between 1.30 and 2pm.

Another surgery will be held on Sunday, December 22 at the same time.

Residents can call in for an informal chat, or to discuss something more serious.

Earlier this summer, the News revealed how Wetherby Police Station’s front desk closed after police chiefs ruled too few people were using the service and also to meet cost cutting measures.

Regular surgeries have been held at Wetherby’s One Stop since the front desk closed.
