Tractor stolen from Tockwith

police yesterday issued an appeal for information following the theft of a tractor from Tockwith.

The vehicle was stolen between 8.30pm on Sunday May 6 and 8.30am on Monday May 7, from a small holding on Tockwith Lane on the outskirts of the village.

The thieves broke into a shed before stealing a blue Lenar 274-1 tractor, which is valued at £4,000.

PC Neil Roworth, of Boroughbridge Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who can help identify those responsible for the theft. I ask that they contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.”
