Spate of burglaries in Wetherby area

Police in Wetherby are appealing for information about a spate of burglaries and thefts from cars in the area over a week.

A mountain bike worth £900 was stolen after a garage on South View, Wetherby, was broken into overnight January 26 and 27.

Valuables and electrical items were stolen from a property in Linton Road, Collingham during the day on January 28.

Entry was forced to a property on York Road, Wetherby during the day on February 1. Police said the intruders made a search but nothing was stolen.

A quantity of clothing and cds were stolen from a vehicle parked on Harewood Road, Collingham between January 26 and 28.

An Apple Ipod, valued at £150, was taken by thieves after breaking into a vehicle on Lanwith View Court in Collingham overnight February 5 and 6.

At some point in the evening of January 28 thieves unscrewed and stole a wing mirror, valued at £500, off a VW Touarag car while it was parked in the car park of Wetherby Leisure Centre.

Tools were stolen from a vehicle parked on Bowcliffe Road, Bramham during the morning of February 3.

Wetherby police would like to hear from anyone with information about any of the above offences.
