Magic sets vanish from Sherburn

Police are appealing for information after a load of magic toys vanished from the back of a lorry in Sherburn-in-Elmet.

A spokesman for the North Yorkshire force today said that at sometime between 6 and 11pm on Friday November 14, 174 Amazing Magic Hat toy sets were stolen from a lorry container trailer parked on the Eddie Stobart site at Sherburn Industrial Estate.

Officers are appealing to anyone with information about the theft or anyone who knows where the magic hats are, to come forward.

The police would also like to speak to anyone who has been offered any of the magic hats for sale.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 - select option 2 - and ask for PC Martin Temple or Sherburn in Elmet police.
