Harrogate police arrested eight people and seized drugs and cash on a day of raids across the town.
Arrests were made on suspicion of offences including drug dealing and money laundering.
Drugs, cash, mobile phones and weighing scales were seized during the raids, which took place on Friday, January 23.
Inspector Penny Taylor of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “20 officers were involved in this planned, proactive operation to tackle the concerns of local people and disrupt criminals in the town.
“Drug dealing, drug use and the associated criminality causes misery for local people and our action has sent a clear warning to law-breakers that they are not welcome in Harrogate and we will do everything we can to disrupt their behaviour.
“Friday’s action was the result of a combination of intelligence gathering and information from the community. I hope this reassures local people that when they report concerns to us, we will take action.”
