St Edward’s Roman Catholic Church: services for the coming week are as follows Saturday, July 13 6pm vigil mass, Sunday, July 14 10am, Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19 9.30am (10am on Thursday).

Clifford Methodist Church: on Sunday, July 14 there will be a service at 10.30am. There will also be an open house coffee morning in the Methodist schoolroom on Tuesday, July 16 from 10–11.30am. All welcome. Meanwhile, the church now has its own website, which is worth visiting, and can be found at http://www.cliffordmc.org.uk.

St Luke’s Church: there will be a holy communion service on Sunday, July 14 at 11am.

Clifford Parish Council: the next meeting will be on Wednesday July 17 at 7.30pm in the village hall. All welcome.

Community fundraising event: a barbecue and blues night, organised by the B4G group, will take place on Friday, July 19 in the village hall from 7.30pm. Entertainment for the evening includes a barbecue, live music, and dancing to The Blues Kings. Tickets are £10 and are available from members of the B4G group or by calling Brian on 01937 843422. Money raised will go to the B4G development fund.

Live Music at the Albion: bands from throughout the country will be performing live at the Albion throughout the year, normally on a Saturday evening. Meanwhile, folk evenings take place once a month on a Wednesday. These take place on the third Wednesday of each month. The next folk evening will, therefore, take place on Wednesday, July 17. For any further information on this, and other music played at The Albion, please call 01937 918554.

Clifford AFC: bingo is now a regular event, normally on the second Tuesday of every month, starting at 7.30pm in the village hall. Entrance fee of £3 includes raffle ticket. The next bingo is in July.
