St Edward’s Roman Catholic Church: services for the coming week are as follows: Saturday, January 5 6pm vigil mass, Sunday, January 13 10am, Monday, January 15 to Friday, January 18 9.30am (10am on Thursday).

Clifford Methodist Church: on Sunday January 13, there will be a service at 10.30am. There will also be an Open House Coffee Morning in the Methodist schoolroom on Tuesday, January 15, from 10–11.30am. All welcome. Meanwhile, the church now has its own website, which is worth visiting, and can be found at http://www.cliffordmc.org.uk.

St Luke’s Church: there will be a holy communion service on Sunday, January 13, at 11am.

Clifford Parish Council: the next meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 16, at 7.30pm in the village hall. All welcome.

Live Music at the Albion: bands from throughout the country will be performing live at the Albion throughout the year, normally on a Saturday evening. Meanwhile, folk evenings take place once a month on a Wednesday. These will now be on the third Wednesday of each month. The next folk evening will therefore, take place on Wednesday, January 16. For any further information on this, and other music played at The Albion, please call 01937 918554.

Clifford AFC: bingo is now a regular event, normally on the second Tuesday of every month, starting at 7.30pm. Entrance fee of £3 includes raffle ticket. The next bingo is in February.
