St Edward’s Roman Catholic Church: services for the coming week are as follows: Saturday, November 24 6pm vigil mass, Sunday, November 25 10am, Monday, November 26 to Friday, November 30 9.30am (10am on Thursday).
Clifford Methodist Church: on Sunday, November 25, there will be a service at 10.30am. There will also be an open house coffee morning in the Methodist schoolroom on Tuesday, November 27, from 10–11.30am. All welcome. Meanwhile, the church now has its own website, which is worth visiting, and can be found at http://www.cliffordmc.org.uk.
St Luke’s Church: there will be a holy communion service on Sunday, November 25 at 11am.
Christmas Party: a special pamperchef Christmas party will take place in the village hall on Thursday, November 29, at 7.30pm. Admission is £1 to include mulled wine and mince pies. The food prepared in the cookery demonstration will be available to eat and there will be lots of fun and conversation. Beautiful kitchen items will be available to order, for self-use, and for presents so why not bring a friend and have a night out. All proceeds will go to Clifford village hall.
Live Music at the Albion: bands from throughout the country will be performing live at the Albion throughout the year, normally on a Saturday evening. Meanwhile, folk evenings take place once a month on a Wednesday. The next folk evening will take place on Wednesday, December 5. Clifford AFC: bingo is now a regular event, normally on the second Tuesday of every month, starting at 7.30pm. Entrance fee of £3 includes raffle ticket. The next bingo is in December.
