St Edward’s Roman Catholic Church: services for the coming week are as follows Saturday, June 22 6pm vigil mass, Sunday, June 23 10am, Monday, June 24 to Friday, June 28 9.30am (10am on Thursday).
Clifford Methodist Church: on Sunday, June 23, there will be a service at 10.30am. There will also be an open house coffee morning in the Methodist schoolroom on Tuesday, June 25, from 10–11.30am. All welcome. Meanwhile, the church now has its own website, which is worth visiting, and can be found at http://www.cliffordmc.org.uk.
St Luke’s Church: there will be a Holy Communion service on Sunday, June 23, at 11am.
Book Sale: there will be a book sale on Saturday, June 22, outside Boston Spa library. This is in aid of Clifford village hall funds. To donate books, please telephone Andrea Seed on 01937 845981.
Live Music at the Albion: bands from throughout the country will be performing live at the Albion throughout the year, normally on a Saturday evening. Meanwhile, folk evenings take place once a month on a Wednesday. These take place on the third Wednesday of each month. The next folk evening will, therefore, take place on Wednesday, July 17. Clifford AFC: bingo is now a regular event, normally on the second Tuesday of every month, starting at 7.30pm in the village hall. Entrance fee of £3 includes raffle ticket. The next bingo is in June.
