The annual Long Marston Playgroup Christmas Craft and Gift Fair is set to provide some festive fun and inspiration to seasonal shoppers this month as over 20 independent exhibitors join forces to offer a range of unique, festively themed hand made gifts for friends, family and the home.

Taking place on Saturday at the village hall, the festive fundraiser will see a range of independent artisan companies, both Yorkshire-based and from as far afield as Edinburgh, offer a selection of gifts.

Long Marston Playgroup fundraising co-ordinator Helen Candy said: ”The Christmas Craft Fair is one of the most important events in our annual fundraising calendar and this year we’ve got a fantastic range of exhibitors – from prints to preserves, accessories to antiquities.

“As such there should be something for everyone to enjoy – including a little early festive cheer!”

With the widest range of exhibitors to date, stall holders span jewellery, decorations and wreaths, luxury chocolates, hand decorated Christmas cakes, preserves, hair accessories, photographic prints, cards, wall art and books.

Starting at 10am until 3pm, entry price is £1 for adults, 50p for OAPs and free for children. Information at http://www.longmarstonplaygroup.co.uk
