Staff at the Wetherby branch of the Yorkshire Building Society are raising funds to help a little Boston Spa girl.
Westoaks SEN Specialist School pupil Francesca Lily, 11, suffers a rare genetic disorder and is unable to talk although she struggles to communicate.
So the building society workers at the High Street branch are to stage an auction night at the Grange Park Rugby Club on Saturday, November 23 at 7.30pm, hosted by Wakefield Trinity Wildcats player Richard Mathers.
“We would like to help her mum Rachel raise the much needed funds for her physiotherapy, cranial osteopathy and speech therapy,” said a spokesman.
“We would also like to support the school that Francesca is currently being integrated into.
“They are looking to raise funds for a reflex wall for their interactive zone.
“We would like to encourage local business’s to join us for this event and would welcome any donations, raffle prizes or prizes for our auction.
“It will be a night of fun, food and dancing!
There will also be live band Crybabycry and a hog roast donated by Hog Roast Yorkshire.
Tickets, £15, are available from Yorkshire Building Society, in Wetherby.
