Carefound Home Care has announced plans to create 20 jobs in the Wetherby area as it starts to help more elderly people stay in their own homes.
The firm provides specialist home care and dementia care services on an hourly and 24-hour live-in basis.
Oliver Stirk, director at Carefound Home Care, said: “We are seeing families become increasingly aware of the benefits of high quality care at home, particularly when it comes to specialist support such as dementia care or 24-hour live-in care.
“We are therefore seeking 20 new people to join our team over the next few months.”
“Although we are very selective in our recruitment process people don’t necessarily need prior professional caring experience - we are a friendly, supportive team and provide full training in all aspects of the care we provide.“
Neil Bellamy, project manager at local charity Wetherby in Support of the Elderly, said: “It is very important that services for the elderly are community based and local - this will ensure that people can continue to play an active role in their community.”
Carefound Home Care team will man information stands in Morrisons on February 11 and 12.
