Have you ever craved a Betty's so much you've pondered requesting it to be delivered to your hotel room?
If your answer to that question is yes then it seems your not alone after Travelodge published the most bizarre requests from some of their customers in Harrogate.
Not only did one customer find the allure of Betty's so much they asked for their cakes to be delivered to the room, another fancied the some of the town's spa water.
If asking for Spa water to be piped into the taps wasn't Yorkshire enough one customer went one further and asked staff to help teach him to speak the accent.
During one romantic getaway, one Harrogate customer attempted to woo his partner by requesting a staff member serenade them with a song to celebrate their anniversary.
For one customer though it was strictly business and, in an attempt to impress the boss, asked staff to transform his notes into a 'fancy Powerpoint presentation'.
Shakila Ahmed, Travelodge spokeswoman said that while the company receives thousands of unusual requests from customers, Harrogate provided some of the strangest.
She might have a point after one Tour de France enthusiast asked a staff member to be their guide as they were cycling the route later.
Shakila said:"Our hotel teams will always try their best to accommodate all customer requests but there are some requests that we just cannot help with such as arranging cake deliveries or cycling the Tour De France route.”
