Hospitality and Tourism awards organisers Destination Harrogate are giving away tickets to the ceremony.
The winners will attend the June 17 black tie gala at the Royal Hall, enjoy a drinks reception and four course meal and wine with entry to the after show party and an overnight stay including a bottle of bubbly and breakfast thrown in at a Destination Harrogate hotel.
Organisers David Ritson and Simon Cotton will announce the winners live on Stray FM.
Two years ago, to promote the awards, they organised Harrogate’s first ever Flashmob in the town centre which you can view on YouTube under ‘Harrogate Flash Mob 2012 Hospitality Awards’. To win the prize worth over £250, all you need to do is guess how many people took part in it on the day.
To enter, log a nomination for this year’s awards at www.destinationharrogate.co.uk by 12pm on Monday, March 17 and include the words FLASHMOB (and your guess) at the end of your nominee’s entry.
The winner will be chosen by the right guess, or closest and announced live on air on the Nick Hancock breakfast show on Tuesday morning.
David and Simon said: “2014 is going to be a very special year for Yorkshire and specifically for Harrogate hosting the Grand Départ in July and we are planning to make this year’s awards the best yet.
“The tourism industry is worth millions of pounds to the local economy and our event rewards and recognises the efforts of those individuals who make Harrogate’s reputation great, locally, nationally and internationally.
“We have once again been inundated with nominations however in this most special of years we want to reward two lucky people with a VIP night to remember!”
Nominations must be received by March 31. Drop postal votes at the Tourist Information Centre on Crescent Gardens or vote online at www.destinationharrogate.co.uk
The prize is subject to availability and terms & conditions apply.
