The MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough, Andrew Jones, will be hosting a conference, tomorrow [Friday] to offer advice on winning international business.

Top 10 tips for winning business overseas is organised by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and Harrogate Borough Council and will be held at Conyngham Hall in Knaresborough in conjunction with National Exports Week.

A Top 10 Tips workshop will be run by Simon Bedford of UKTI, and will be followed by local business perspectives from BNL and Taylors of Harrogate, and a question and answer session with the panel.

Mr Jones, who has 25 years’ business experience, said: “Many firms in our area are already leading the way back to an export-led economic recovery.

“This conference is for those who are looking to or who have already started to expand into the international market place but could do with some extra advice on the next steps.”
