Businesses across the region now have just a few days left to enter the Harrogate Advertiser Business Awards.

Last week, the deadline for entries was extended, so it will now fall at noon this Monday, March 20.

Jean MacQuarrie, editor of the Harrogate Advertiser series, said: “We extended the deadline by a week and we’re glad we did, as we’ve seen a late surge in numbers of contenders, just as we anticipated.

“The judges will be getting down to the business of sifting through all the entries next week, and I’m sure there’ll be some superb ones, as usual.”

The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony on Thursday, April 27 at the Royal Hall.

The awards, whose main sponsor is Harrogate and Pateley Bridge estate agent Verity Frearson, celebrate business excellence across the circulation areas of the Harrogate Advertiser Series, which cover the Harrogate District plus Wetherby, Tadcaster, Sherburn-in-Elmet and several villages east of Leeds.
