Wetherby Bulldogs are to kick off a new programme of rugby league on Saturday.
Children aged three to six can take part in non-contact training sessions which will take place from 2-3pm every Saturday.
“The emphasis of these sessions is having lots of fun whilst exercising,” said a club spokesman.
“So if you have a son or daughter who is raring to burn off some energy, come down to Wetherby Sports Association on Saturday for a free taster session.”
Parents of children aged five and under are asked to stay on site.
The launch of the Pups Programme coincides with the decision by the RFL to move junior Rugby League to a summer playing season.
Players are always welcome at every age group and the Bulldogs’ Under-14s squad are especially in need of extra legs this season.
