Bramham Parish Council website: the new website was launched recently just before the parish council meeting. This is Bramham is a sparkling new site for Bramham Parish Council, with lots of information relating to clubs and committees in the village. It contains a lot of detail about your council and there will be a chance to let the council know if you have any issues that you feel should be aired. Check out www.thisisbramham.co.uk and see for yourself.
Remembrance Sunday: there will be a Remembrance Service at All Saints Church on Sunday, November 11 at 9.45am followed by the service at the War Memorial at 11am.
Neighbourhood Plan: we are pleased to announce that we have been successful in our bid to be designated a formal Neighbourhood Area. Following the leaflet that was sent out to the village and the replies received either through the drop box or on line, we have fed back the comments to Leeds City Council Planning department and we await the response. Thanks to all those who replied. We have endeavoured to reply individually but many responded without their names and addresses so we cannot contact them. All the replies and comments have been considered and included in the site allocation response to Leeds City Council. The Neighbourhood Plan team will keep everyone informed as and when we get more information back.
Allotments: the Meadow Lane Allotments have plots available. If you fancy the “Good Life” and growing and eating your own produce then call at the allotments first thing most mornings and speak to John or Brian and put your name down. Bramham residents will have priority but it is first come first served.
Church Bazaar: the Bramham Church Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 24 at 2pm. If you would like to run a stall contact Mavis Wilson on 01937 842321. Please note this date which is different to the one in the Parish News!
