Jazz in the Spa: the session this Saturday, September 14 - Carl Sinclair Boogie Band - one of last year’s ‘explosive’ evenings which had everyone ‘rockin’ in the aisles’. So many requests for a repeat performance. Carl on the keyboard with the superb John Hallam on reeds - jazz, blues, boogie woogie and sheer effervescent entertainment. Oxfam Break-fest: Boston Spa village hall on Sunday, September 29 from 10.30am till 4pm. The event is called Break-fest - www.break-fest.com and features food (all day breakfasts), music, stalls and drinks - entrance is free! We have an excellent headline band, The Duncan McFarlane Band, who headline at the Otley Folk Festival the weekend before, and also have some other excellent local musicians playing.
