Jazz in the Spa: the session this Saturday, January 19, Dave Mott’s Jazz Classics, overdue and over here from Cheshire comes this versatile and professional group with its wide ranging musical repertoire led by Dave on reeds and, on this occasion, young Jamie Brownfield on trumpet, winner of the British Jazz Awards 2012 Rising Star Award, plus the highly respected Tom Kincaid on the keyboard. Boston Spa Methodist Church: the services for this Sunday, January 20 10.30am Rev Susan Greenhart Covenant ServicE 4pm Churches Together Week Of Prayer, Christan Unity. St Mary’s Church: new time for services from the beginning of January the main Sunday Service at St Mary’s will start at 10am.

St Mary’s Ark: come and join us at St Mary’s Ark, St Mary’s Church every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 1.45-3pm at St Mary’s Church, Boston Spa. This includes a short service for babies, toddlers, parents and carers. Including refreshments and activities. A warm welcome awaits you from the members of Mothers’ Union. The next meeting will be January 17.

Boston Spa and Tadcaster Roundtable: would like to thank the residents of Boston Spa who contributed to the door to door collection made on Santa’s pre Christmas tour of the village. The total raised was an amazing £1,130. The money goes towards supporting good causes in the local area, most recently over 90 local older residents from Boston Spa and surroundingvillages were treated to Christmas dinner and entertainment at the Bridge Inn.
