Jazz in the Spa: the session this Saturday, December 8 in the Boston Spa Village Hall - Sportinghouse Strings – and to continue with the festive theme, here’s the trio to remind us all of the rollicking evenings spent in the company of the late Tommy Burton. Back to the gang once again ladies and gent’men – JITS favourite, Spats, Langham plus Martin Litton and Richard Vernon. Boston Spa Methodist Church: the services for this Sunday, December 9 - 10.30am Rev Susan Greenhart Gift Service. All who love the Lord are welcome to join us at any of our Services and events, and for refreshments afterwards in the Wesley Room.

St Mary’s Ark: come and join us at St Mary’s Ark, St Mary’s Church every first and third Thursday of the month from 1.45-3pm at St Mary’s Church, Boston Spa. Therefore our next session will be Thursday, December 6. This includes a short service for babies, toddlers, parents and carers including refreshments and activities. A warm welcome awaits you from the members of Mothers’ Union.

Forthtell: invites you to a lecture and discussion on issues of the day. The next session is titled Some Myths and Realities Surrounding Frankincense in Southern Arabia by Dr Peter Cookson at the Boston Spa village hall on Saturday, December 8 from 2.30–4pm. All are welcome. There is no charge and there will be light refreshments and free literature. Forthtell is an independent fellowship, not connected to any one church or organisation, seeking to pursue Bible truth, determine the Christian position on issues of the day, and at this time defend the sovereignty of the UK from the inroads of European Union and its euro. Carol Concert: There is to be a Carol Concert by The Elysian Singers on Thursday, December 13 2012 at 7.30pm in Boston Spa Methodist Church. Tickets cost £7.50, including light refreshments and can be bought at the door on the night or by phoning Stuart Haigh on 07855 750270. Proceeds are for B4G Development fund which is raising money to adapt our church to meet the needs of the community and all future users of Boston Spa Methodist Church.

Boston Spa Farmers Market: there will be a farmers market held on Millenium Square, outside Boston Spa Library on Friday, December 14 from 9am–noon. All manor of products available from fresh fruit and veg to home baking.
