Residents are being urged to have their final say on proposals for new street lighting in Boston Spa this week.
A debate in the village over the heritage-style lighting, as opposed to standard lighting, has been going on in the village for the last few weeks, as reported previously be the Wetherby News.
The parish council hopes that as many people as possible will look at the plans before a decision is made, tomorrow, Saturday June 11, on the proposals.
Residents are asked to fill in a brief questionnaire attached to the consultation leaflet handed out to households so that the council can consider everyone’s views.
A special open session will be held in the Old Snooker Room at Boston Spa Village Hall on Saturday June 11 between 9.30 and 12 noon when parish council members will be present.
The response form can be returned to the Parish Council office through the letter box at the Village Hall, or at Yeadon’s shop where a box will be provided.
The parish council have confirmed that the final decision will be made by them, along with Leeds City Council, after considering feedback on residents views.
The Wetherby News will report the outcome.
