Boston Spa residents came together for their annual village gala last Saturday.
The event started with a parad from St Mary’s Church, led by cheerleaders and accopnaied by the Prince and Princess from each of the local primary schools.
Boston Spa and Tadcaster Round Table run the event with the money going towards local good causes.
A spokesman for the organisation said: “Since the gala started close to £50,000 has been donated to organisations such as Boston in Bloom and Aiming High, thanks to the generosity and support of local people.”
Popular activities included the junior football tournament for local primary schools, falconry show, band, puppet show and fancy dress.
