Consider Yourself......Invited to Oliver!: More than 40 children, aged four to 12 years, are busy rehearsing for their performances of Oliver! later this month in a major production for the Just For Fun drama group. Launched in September last year, Just For Fun runs three classes at Boston Spa Village Hall for girls and boys who enjoy acting and performing. Its focus is on creating an alternative to formal drama schools, giving children of all ages and abilities the opportunity to have fun, make new friends and have the opportunity to perform on stage.

Following a successful Christmas Show of sketches, dances and songs, the group is now performing an exciting version of the Lionel Bart classic, complete with all the songs from the film. Tickets are now on sale for their matinee and evening shows of Oliver! on June 22 at Boston Spa School.

Estelle Lawn, who lives in Boston Spa, set up Just For Fun following her many years’ involvement with the highly popular productions at Primrose Lane School. “We are having great fun working on Oliver!,” she says. “The musical numbers are already amazing and the children are putting in a lot of rehearsal time. It should be a really special production.” For more information and to book tickets, contact Just For Fun on 07793 557932
