Twenty bloggers helped raise £300 for Martin House Children’s Hospice in an event organised by digital marketing agency Branded3.

The Just Grand! Vintage Tearooms in the Grand Arcade hosted the blogging event.

The set-up of the event encouraged the bloggers to donate any unwanted clothes to the charity too, so as well as £300 raised, Martin House has been donated around 100 items of clothing to sell in their shops.

All the bloggers, including Bee from Queen Beady, had a fantastic time at the event.

‘Thank you guys for organising a wonderful event. It was a great night with an amazing vibe.

“I hope you raised a lot of money. I live in the same village as Martin House so actively support them a lot of the time.”

Part of the event included a charity auction, prizes were donated from Candy Hero, Thorpe Park Hotel, Bibi’s Italian Restaurant, Woodhall Hotel and Spa and Martin House themselves donated a hamper of products.

Branded3 organised the event to raise money and awareness for Martin House.

Tim Grice, CEO of Branded3, said: “Martin House are well known in the local area, but we wanted to spread the word about them online and getting bloggers involved is a great way to do this.”

Martin House is a purpose-built hospice for children, young people and their families.

It provides care and support free of charge to children and young people with a life-limiting illness.
