Thanks: Stephanie Wright would like to thank all who supported the Rosy Lea Pop Up Vintage Café recently in the Callister Hall in aid of St. Gemma’s Hospice. Also a big thank you to all the traders and shoppers at the Charity Christmas Gift evening held in November. Lynne, Sharon and Tisha managed to raise £260 for Martin House and the Bardsey Village Hall stage curtain fund.

Mothers’ Union: are you at a loose end, today Thursday, and want cheering up? Then get yourself along to the Callister Hall for 2.15pm where the members will be pleased to see you and join them to hear Bill Ratcliffe give a talk on and with monologues by Stanley Holloway. Bill would be quite pleased for a little male moral support. See you there!

Villages’ Carol Service: the village hall in East Keswick was packed last year for this event which had a real community feel to it. Churches Together in Bardsey and East Keswick invite everyone to join them again on Wednesday at 7pm, once again in the East Keswick Village Hall. The Collingham Band will help with the music and a collection will be made for a local charity. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served afterwards.
