Bank donation to police charity

A DONATION of £1,000 has been made to a charity which treats injured police officers in Harrogate.

Barclays made the donation to the Police Treatment Centres Charity for improvements to the St Andrew’s centre off Harlow Moor Road in Harrogate.

The charity also has a treatment centre in Scotland.

Barclays’ relationship director, Daniella Taylor, said: “Our employees chose this charity because there is a local connection and we have supported the charity previously.”

Nicola Ridgway from the charity said: “We are extremely grateful to Barclays for this generous donation, which will make a huge difference and in this case be used to help us carry out improvements at our centre in Harrogate.

“The charity supports over 4,000 injured and ill police officers every year.”
