Authors Donna Harrison and Hayley Dodsworth will be spreading the word about healthy eating this summer.

The pair are taking part in the Leeds Breeze on Tour where they will be given the chance to share their adventure story book - Emma Bright and the Super Food Fight - with children from across the region while raising money for a UK children’s cancer charity.

Donna Harrison, of East Keswick said: “We are so pleased to be invited to take part in these fantastic local events, allowing us the opportunity to promote our healthy eating concept, The Super Food Fight, and inspire lifelong healthy eating habits for kids.

“We can share our motto ‘join the super food fight to be happy, healthy and bright.

“We promise to deliver some fantastic Super Food fun to the events with our life-sized super food fancy dress and photo boards, fun with food crafts and a book signing.”

Hayley, from Bardsey, and Donna will next visit Temple Newsam with the Breeze team on August 9 and 10, from noon-5pm.

Breeze is Leeds City Council’s action packed series aimed at providing summer fun for the under-19s and offers arts, inflatable, sports, crafts, performances and dance.
