Aberford Primary School will be pulling out all the stops again on Saturday June 15 to make this year’s village gala the best ever.

After the huge attendance last year, the gala is once again being held in the Village Hall and grounds.

The event will be opened at 1pm by the Gala Queens and the School choir, followed by performances from local dance groups from the Katie Louise School of Dance and a preview of the school’s upcoming production of Oliver.

Organisers said that there will be lots of activities for all ages to get involved in, including the TA (Territorial Army) with their inflatable bungee run and other fun activities, teaching staff in the stocks and the Aberford Tug of War.

Other stalls include the Tea Tent serving homemade cakes and drinks, Mystery Jars, Tin Can Alley, Chocolate Tombola, Human Fruit Machine, Face painting, BBQ and many more.

Drinks will be available all day from the bar.
