Local people are being invited to Take a Chance and say I Do to a fun-filled ABBA tribute night taking place at The Engine Shed in Wetherby this autumn.
The Leonard Cheshire Disability Service, on Wharfedale Lawns, is inviting people to let their hair down at the 70s revival night on October 18.
And the evening will feature ABBAGIRLS, the critically acclaimed, Super Trouper tribute band.
The event will be raising money for Wetherby-based Wharfedale House, a residential service which is run by the charity Leonard Cheshire.
Marie Sharp, service manager at Wharfedale House, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming volunteers, supporters, families of our residents and local people to our Tribute Night.
“It is a great opportunity to let your hair down, enjoy great music in a fantastic atmosphere; all while raising much-needed funds for our service.”
Volunteer coordinator Maureen Asquith added: “People interested in volunteering should come along to our Tribute Night event.
“While having a great night you can find out more about the service and how you could help.
“There are plenty of ways to combine your skills and interests with working to support disabled people in Wetherby.”
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are £10, with all proceeds of the night going to Wharfedale House. For tickets please contact Maureen or Noelia on 01937 585667.
