Stone returns with elegant still life exhibition at Barefoot

NEW paintings by one of the country’s leading still life artists are to be shown in a new exhibition at The Barefoot Gallery in Boston Spa.
Yorkshire-based painter Paul Stone will be present in the gallery on the opening day tomorrow, Saturday where visitos can also look forward to chocolate and cupcakes.
There will be 14 paintings on display in the exhibition which will run until April 21.
Its the second solo exhibition at Barefoot by Stone, who graduated in fine art from Sheffield Hallam University.
After growing up in a Suffolk fishing village, Stone has made his reputation from his Yorkshire base with a series of elegant, realist paintings and drawings inspired by Spanish and Dutch paintings from the 17th and 18th century.
His works have been shown and sold at art fairs in London, New York and Singapore.
The Barefoot Gallery can be found at 144 High Street, Boston spa.
It exhibits original contemporary art from a selection of British and European artists alongside hand blown glass art and Italian furniture.
