Members of Wetherby Musical Theatre Group braved the sub-zero temperatures to go out and about in Wetherby last Saturday morning to promote their forthcoming pantomime, The King’s New Clothes.

The show is being directed by Catherine Whitaker and musically directed by Andrew Whitaker who have directed many of the group’s previous pantomimes.

The cast includes Paul Roberts in the role of the Dame with Mike Earle as the evil Baron. Fred Lyn is playing the King and Emma Knill is playing the part of “Prince Charlie”.

A spokesman for the group said: “As always, the show promises to be great entertainment for the whole family, so you need look no further for some excellent half term family fun.”

People can go along and enjoy the frivolities at Wetherby High School on Wednesday, February 15 to Friday, February 17 at 7.30pm and Saturday, February 18, with two performances at 1 and 5pm.

Tickets are available from Wetherby Library and cost £9 for adults and £6 for concessions.
