I WOULD like to thank, on behalf of Action for Children (formerly NCH), the many local residents who have responded generously over the past few weeks to our voluntary collectors, undertaking house to house collections for Action for Children, one of the UK’s leading children’s charities, which achieved the following results: Bardsey, £1,044; East Keswick, £601; Boston Spa, Clifford & Thorp Arch, £1,213; Tadcaster, £622 and Wetherby, £689 - making a grand total of £4,169.
Your continuing support is much appreciated and will help Action for Children maintain and develop their work in improving the lives of some most vulnerable children, young people and their families, so that they may be given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
