A ROSSETT School student has been congratulated by the school for achieving an A* grade in GCSE French at just 14-years-old.
Anna Boisen, who was in Year 9 at the school when she sat the exam, was among the top five in the country with her results.

Anna, who also speaks Hungarian, said: " I was really surprised to find out that I had done so well. I really enjoy French and I think that knowing the language will be useful in the future, as I may want to study or live in France."

Anna is one the 30 Rossett pupils currently studying AS French or Spanish two school years earlier than is usual.
