Bridge crossing to close for repairs

THE BRIDGE crossing the River Nidd at Knaresborough is to close for essential repairs.
North Yorkshire County Council will be carrying out parapet repairs to Low Bridge on the B6163 River Nidd crossing between Bland's Hill and Briggate.

From Monday October 27 to Friday October 31 the bridge will be closed to through traffic and a signed diversion via the A59 Harrogate Road, Forest Lane and Forest Moor Road will be in place for the duration of the works.

Pedestrian access will be maintained over the bridge at all times.
