'High quality care' pledge by new by Harrogate NHS Trust chairman

THE new chairman of the Board of Governors for Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust has been announced.
Sandra Dodson, who has lived in Harrogate for 16 years, will take over the role from Dr Albert Day on September 30.
Mrs Dodson was a non-executive of the trust for 10 years until her departure for constitutional reasons when her term of office expired in August 2006.
She is a self-employed business consultant and trainer with 14 years' experience in both the legal and health sector, and chairwoman of governors at Harrogate Grammar School, the school both her children have attended.
She is also a keen tennis player and fan, and plays regularly at a local club.
Mrs Dodson said: "I am delighted to be working with Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust once again and am committed to the NHS and delivering high quality health services to people in the Harrogate district and further afield."
